Thank you for your interest!
We are seeking sport coordinator(s) for Evanston and Chicago.
Application deadline is September 30th
Sports are fun, and a great way to meet others while staying healthy. We are presently seeking for the first time fellow postdocs for the role of sport coordinator(s) to organize sport activities.
We are looking forward to hear your suggestions, and how you would envision your role as a sports coordinator. In the long run (pun intended), we aim to establish a team of approximately 4-6 coordinators for every campus, so that we can robustly cover ~2-3 activities. Perhaps you are already doing some regular activity that could be joined by others?
We anticipate a time commitment of roughly ~2 hours per month – although the precise time commitment would be up to you and your plans and your chosen sport(s). Since you do not need to participate in committee meetings (unless you wish to), organizational overhead should be less than 20min per month.
You do not need to worry about advertising your plans as you will get access to our internal organizational infrastructure and we will publicize individual activities and/or events as well as the start of your service as a sport coordinator. You will be listed on our webpage, and hence will be able to publicly demonstrate your ability to start, coordinate, and shape novel group activities.
